Amek nl_28: New Evitceles tape, Conjecture & XI-N back in Sofia
Our second Fall release is out now and you are welcome to a special gig in November
The Fall edition of our fifteenth-anniversary schedule continues with the release of Bruised, a new full-length by Etien Slavchev’s solo project Evitceles, and the return of Greek post-industrial artist Conjecture to Sofia on November 4 alongside Berlin-based experimental producer XI-N.
New Releases
Evitceles - Bruised
As hinted in Evitceles’ most recent, releases, his music has become even more guitar and vocal-centered, with beats and basslines feeling somehow colder and simpler. While the artist's signature aggressive, at times lo-fi, approach to production makes the overall sound of the album feel gritty and punishing, Bruised also has a tasty and deranged post-punk flavor to it. It toys with us through drastic mood switches, innate intensity, and laconic but emotional lyrics and vocals. We never know where Evitceles’ music is headed, but we want to be a part of this journey.
Order “Bruised” on cassette (ltd. 60) or digital here.
Valance Drakes - Hate Devours Its Host
If somehow you’ve missed our September newsletter, we’d like to remind you that the new Valance Drakes LP Hate Devours Its Host is also still available on a very limited run of vinyl and digital over at our Bandcamp. It’s also available in Japan thanks to our friends at Tobira Records. Don’t miss out, get your copy here.

Friends & Family
Our dear friends at Indioteque, a DIY media and a booking crew, also celebrate 15 years of making stuff happen in Bulgaria. On October 25 they are bringing Deliluh and Bain De Gong to town which is great news on its own but if you can’t wait until November 4 to hear some of the latest Evitceles tunes live, this show is also a great opportunity to do so. Find your tickets here.
